Deb A. Smiley

Deb A. Smiley, 67, 0f Carlisle, died Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Cumberland Crossings, where she had been living for the last couple of years.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of Donald and Dorothy (Barrick) Beam and wife of the late Rodger Smiley, who passed away in 2016.

Deb was a very social person who loved music, especially Motown, Carrie Underwood and Patsy Cline. She was also a member of Landisburg Church of God.

She really loved her family and friends and spending time with them all.

Deb is survived by her sons: Jeremy (Grace) Smiley, of New Hampshire, Alex (Jen) Smiley, of Duncannon; her sister: Denise (Marshall) Harrington, of Shermans Dale; her grandchildren: Elijah Smiley, Makenzie Smiley, Emily (Sam) Buss and Peyton Smiley.

Deb was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger (2016) and her grandson, Ethan Smiley (2017).

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 1 PM Friday, December 29, 2023 at Bible Baptist Church, 1757 New Bloomfield Road, New Bloomfield, where the family will greet guests after 10 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Shermans Dale Presbyterian Cemetery.
