David Roy Martin

David Roy Martin, age 71, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Manor Care, Carlisle.
He was born on June 20, 1944 in Carlisle to the late David Rankin and Marjorie Chloe Boyer Martin.
David served in the United States Army during Vietnam and retired from C.H. Masland & Son/Lear Corporation as a security guard. He loved to go hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Neidhammer Martin of Boiling Springs; a son, Joshua Martin of Shiremanstown; a daughter, Jada Whery of Wichita Falls, TX; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Martin, Logan Martin, Karlie Martin, Kamesha Whery and Jalisa Whery; and a sister, Shirley Peiper of Carlisle.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle. There will be a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service. There will be a private interment at Longsdorf Cemetery.
