David Nicholson

David Nicholson, 55, of Shippensburg died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born April 25, 1955, in Lafayette, Ind., he was a son of the late Wesley Gilbert and Myrtle Crockett Nicholson.
He was owner/operator of Dave’s CB Shop. He was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country with the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Johanna Nicholson of Shippensburg; one brother, Wesley Nicholson (and wife, Janet) of Tehachapi, Calif.; three step-children, Dawn Catron (and husband, Tim) of Clayton, N.C., Beverly Barber of Etters and Valerie Bilbro (and husband, Gary) of Boones Mill, Va.; four grandchildren, Amelia Havens, Zoe Barber, Stasja Barber and Andy Catron; and his mother-in-law, Mildred Semones of Rural Retreat, Va.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Daniel Lehigh officiating.
A visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Johanna will also welcome visitors at her home.
