David L. Harris

David “Daveâ€Â L. Harris, 50, of Carlisle went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at his home.
Born June 24, 1961 in Meyersdale, a son of William B. and Esther Baer Harris.
He coached baseball, basketball and soccer and loved any sport that his children played. David’s family will remember him as a wonderful, loving son, father and husband.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife of 26 years, Debbie Harris of Carlisle, one daughter, Christi Fraker (and husband, Zach) of Carlisle and two sons, Brett Harris of Carlisle and Eric Harris of Carlisle.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Brethren in Christ Church, 1155 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle with Rev. Alan Robison officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
David’s family encourages everyone to dress casually for his service.
