David H. Long Jr.

David H. Long Jr. age 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born October 26, 1937 in Carlisle the son of the late David H. Long and Sarah K. (Miller) Long.
He retired as a production manager. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and had a great interest in little league.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Long of Carlisle, his daughter: Karen J. McAlister of Carlisle, his son: Keith D. Long and his wife Sherri of New Cumberland, PA, two granddaughters: Sophia Long and Sarah Long, and his sister: Peg Lenker of Oklahoma.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by brothers: Bob and Leroy and by sisters: Betty, Eva, and Clara.
At David’s request, there are to be no services.
