David A. Yerger, age 67, of Lake Worth, FL passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Chongqing, China where he had resided for the past 8 years.
He was born November 19, 1948 in Johnson City, NY to the late Alan S. Yerger and Beverly A. (Carr) Smitley of Mechanicsburg.
He graduated in 1966 from Mechanicsburg High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked in the car sales business for most of his career. He loved building cars and racing cars.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shugui Zeng of China; son, Kristopher Blasko of FL; two daughters, Erin Blasko and Samantha Yerger , both of FL; three sisters, Jerelyn Franklin of Phila., PA, Karen Gleim of Carlisle, PA and Heide Lee of North, VA; and five grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
