Daniel V. Kingery

Daniel V. Kingery, 75, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Brazil, Indiana on September 4, 1939 to the late Daniel V. Sr. and Opal L. Hildebrand Kingery.
Daniel retired in 1995 as President of Reeves-Hoffman Manufacturing Co., Carlisle. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he attained the rank of Captain in the US Army Corp of Engineers. Daniel graduated from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana with an engineering degree. He was a former member of Allison United Methodist Church in Carlisle; Chairman of the Carlisle Summer Fair Committee; former president of Cantate Carlisle; President of the Carlisle Hospital Board; board member of Harris Savings & Loan for 11 years; a member of the Carlisle Rotary Club; Chairman of Electronics Industries Association; and was involved with the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce. Daniel also volunteered for the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly L. Kellogg Kingery of Carlisle; son, David V. Kingery of Miami Beach, FL; daughters, Kristin M. Kingery of Philadelphia and Kathleen S. Beecher of Titusville, FL; a brother, John W. (and wife Karen) Kingery of Brazil, IN; a sister, Margaret A. (and husband Timothy) Sanders of Brazil, IN; and two granddaughter, Rachel and Corinne Beecher.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Allenberry
Resort in the Beltzhoover Terrace, 1559 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, PA. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon and Memorial Service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
