Daniel J. Miller

Daniel J. Miller, 76, current resident of the Bridges at Bent Creek, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Bucks County, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle.

Daniel was born July 21, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to the late William and Anna Mae (Flicker) Miller. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Katherine in 2000. Together they shared more than 30 years of marriage.

Daniel was a former member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Warminster, PA and attended St. Patrick Church in Carlisle. He enjoyed reading, watching bad sci-fi movies and drinking coffee. More than anything, he loved his wife and family.

He is survived by two sons; David A. (wife Kandi) of Norristown, PA and Daniel J. (wife Julie) of Carlisle, PA; daughter, Patricia A. Brown (husband David) of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, William Miller, Jr. (wife Lani) of Bensalem, PA; and five grandchildren; Emily, Katherine and Elaina Miller and Jason and Joshua Brown. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Russo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA with Rev. Martin O. Moran, III as celebrant. A viewing will be held from 12:30 pm until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
