Dale E. Kuhn Jr., 45, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, after complications related to Covid 19.
He was born April 27, 1976, in Carlisle, PA where he was a lifelong resident.
Dale served his country in the United States Navy as an EOCA Seabee from 1997 to 1998 when he was honorably discharged.
He was a devoted husband, father, and family man. Dale spent many years coaching football. During his years of coaching, he made a positive impact and helped to shape the lives of many young adults. Throughout his journey with CVMFA he gained many friends that he considered to be family. His latest passion was for his lime green Jeep known as “Biohazard”. Dale was employed by Exel / DHL Logistics as a Lead Operator for 22 years.
Dale was always caring and giving to others. This quality never wavered; Dale has continued to give by being an organ donor. Because of his generous nature multiple recipients have the gift of life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Kendra L. (Allinder) Kuhn of Carlisle; his children, Coby L. Ritter of Camp Hill, Hayden E. Kuhn of Carlisle, and Aubrey L. Kuhn of Carlisle; his grandmother, Lula N. Kuhn of Carlisle, who had a significant role in his life; his father Dale E. Kuhn Sr. of Carlisle; two siblings, Linda (husband Dan) Hair of Carlisle and Jeff (wife Shelby) Nelson of Shermansdale; one stepbrother, Jim (wife Jen) Nelson of New Cumberland; many nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Autumn and Keno. Dale was preceded in death by his grandfather, Asbury D. Kuhn and his stepmother, Cheryl L. Kuhn.
All are invited to honor and celebrate Dale’s life, a visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. His visitation will be followed by a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
