Cynthia L. Hinson

Cynthia L. Hinson, 69, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, with her family by her side at UPMC West Shore Hospital.
She was born June 22, 1952, in Roaring Spring, PA to the late Robert O. and Joyce L. (Zimmerman) Winter.
Cindy was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. She enjoyed a career of more than 30 years at Claremont Nursing and Rehab. Center before her eventual retirement in 2010. Cindy was a very generous person, especially to her children and her grandson. She always took every opportunity possible to spend time with her grandson who she loved so much. When she wasn’t working, Cindy loved being outdoors and could often be found caring for her flowers. She truly adored all of her friends and her family.
Cindy is survived by two loving children, Angela L. Russell and Steven A. Hinson both of Carlisle; three sisters, Lorrie Kennedy of Harrisburg, Judith Perry of Idaho, and Catherine Wiser of Virginia; one grandson, Zachariah Russell of Mechanicsburg; a son-in-law, David Russell of Mechanicsburg; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Cindy’s wishes there will be no service or viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Cindy to the charity of your choice.
