Csm (Ret)Duane M. Donison

CSM (Ret) Duane M. Donison (64) of Carlisle, quietly passed away on Thursday, 4 December in his home.
CSM Donison proudly served in the 82nd Airborne Division for 25 years. After retiring from active duty, he served as a security guard at the US Army War College/Carlisle Barracks. He was an All American Member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, a Lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Association of the United States Army, and the Non Commissioned Officers Association of the United States of America, as well as a member of the Cumberland Valley Sportsman Association.
CSM Donison is survived by his loving wife, Jane Donison (Carlisle), his brother, Bryce L. Donison (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and two step-daughters, Suzanne Daprile (West Chester), and Jennifer Westford (Pittsburgh).
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the U. S. Army War College Memorial Chapel, Carlisle Barracks with Chaplain Lt. Col. Matthew Wysocki officiating. The family plans to celebrate CSM Duane Donison with "one last jump" over the Holland Drop Zone, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, before he regroups with his paratrooper brothers.
