Constance F. "Connie" Diehl

Constance F. "Connie" Diehl, 84, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Cumberland Crossings.
She was born on October 1, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Harry and Valleria Ichnovsky Fallon.
Connie graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in New York and went on to get a Business Certificate from the Krissler Business Institute. She then went to work as an Administrative Assistant for IBM until she had her children and became a homemaker. She was a great duplicate bridge player, playing mostly in New York but also in PA.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Diehl of Carlisle; a son, Wayne R. Diehl of Poughkeepsie, NY; a daughter, Nancy D. (and husband Michael) Ramsey of Hopkinton, MA; grandchildren, David Ramsey and Kristin Ramsey, both of Hopkinton, MA, Amanda (and husband Marc) Lelyveld of Milford, CT and Mackenzie Landers of Hyde Park, NY; and a sister, Kathryn Schmalberger of Georgetown, TX. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Fallon.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Cumberland Crossings, 1 Longsdorf Way, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Judith Strayer officiating. Private burial will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. There will be a visitation at Cumberland Crossings on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
