Clair W. Starner

Clair W. Starner, Jr., 60, of Carlisle, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born July 3, 1951 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Clair W., Sr., and Joanne Stanley Starner.
He was employed for 28 years at Frog Switch Manufacturing, Carlisle and also for the Excel Corporation, Carlisle with 10 years of service. Clair was currently employed by Wal-Mart of Carlisle as a maintenance technician. He was US Army veteran who served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War. Clair was a member of New Hope Church of God, Carlisle.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Vicki Starner of Carlisle; one son; one daughter; and one step-daughter; three brothers; one sister; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Dennis Killinger officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
