Cindy L. Bixler

Cindy Bixler, 52, of Carlisle, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg.
Born November 4, 1961 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of James and Thelma Keener Weinreich.
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School. Cindy was employed by the Church of God Home, Carlisle in housekeeping. She loved gardening and planting flowers. She especially loved spending time with her kids and family.
Surviving are her husband of twenty-four years, Martin L. Bixler; two children, Jennifer Bixler (and her fiancée, Andrew Myers) of Boiling Springs and Jessica Peterson (and husband, Brittan) of York; one brother, Jim Weinreich of Mechanicsburg; and two sisters, Kathy Jumper and Sue Brackbill both of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Cathy Weinreich.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Church of God Home, 801 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Chaplain Bradley Moore officiating.
