Chung Wing "Daniel" Wong, 57, of Palmyra died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Shippensburg Health Care Center.
Born August 22, 1956 in China, he was a son of Sau Hing Cheung Wong and the late Yim Bun Wong.
He attended Kings College in Virginia. Chung spent most of his working years in Virginia. He enjoyed canoeing, rock climbing, martial arts and outdoors in general. He was always a very positive and happy person who lived his life to the fullest. Chung had a great sense of humor and always smiled, even during the sixteen year fight with meningitis. He was a member of Harrisburg Chinese Alliance Church. He was a caring son, husband, father and brother who always put his family's needs first.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of twenty-three years, Mali "Mary" Wong of Palmyra; one daughter Grace Wong of Palmyra and six siblings, Mei Chun Wong of Hong Kong, Lai Chun Wong of Ontario, Chung Ping Wong of Ontario, Eliza Lam of Ontario, Jimmy Wong of Ontario and Francis Wong of Ontario.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
