Christopher William James Megonnell

Christopher William James Megonnell, 31, of Shermans Dale, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his residence.
He was born March 20, 1989 in Harrisburg to Charles P. Megonnell of Enola and the late Vonda Rae (Hosterman) Megonnell.
Christopher was a 2007 graduate of West Perry High School where he played on the football team. He loved all sports but was especially fond of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Christopher enjoyed all types of music, he attended SHARE concerts and was a huge fan of Bob Marley. He was currently employed by Olive Garden in Mechanicsburg and was formerly employed by Warrell Corporation and Turkey Hill.
In addition to his father, Christopher was survived by his sister, Brandy N. (husband Jason) Sprout of Newport; three children, Mason and Izabella Megonnell of Shermans Dale and Dakota Raudabaugh of Newport; two nephews, Rhett and Wyatt Sprout of Newport; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service celebrating Christopher’s life will held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
