Charles E. "Charlie" Sawyer, 64, of Shippensburg, PA formerly of Trout Run, died Monday, September 29, 2014.
Born November 6, 1949 in Blossburg, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Mary M. Faivre Sawyer.
He was an auto body repairman for forty-two years, working for the former Don Breon Ford and currently retired from the Williamsport Ford. He served for six years in Pennsylvania National Guard. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, walking and riding his bicycle through the woods of Lycoming County. Most of all the time he would spend with his loving wife of forty-four years and his family.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia M. Woodson Sawyer of Shippensburg; one daughter, Mari E. Aumick (husband, Chad) of Shippensburg; two sons: Charles S. Sawyer (wife, Malinda) of Mifflinburg and Jason M. Sawyer (wife, Mya) of Liberty; one sister, Doris M. Pittenger (husband, George); two brothers: Ronald L. Sawyer (wife, Kathy) and John A. Sawyer all of Trout Run, PA; and seven grandchildren: Tyler, Jacob, Ethan, Madalynn, Levi, Chase and Clayton.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Morris, PA with Rev. Thomas McAvoy officiating.
