Catherine K. Arnold, 87, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Born March 14, 1927 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Harrison and Amy Foreman Kelly and the widow of William D. Arnold.
She was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1944. After High School she went to work for the Naval Supply Depot, Mechanicsburg where she met her husband. Catherine spent the early part of her life living in Georgia, Texas, Florida and Virginia before returning to Pennsylvania. She was formerly employed by Giant Food and Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.
Surviving are one son, Nathan Arnold (and wife, Kathryn) of Baltimore, MD; one sister, Doris Casey (and husband, William) of Lakeland, FL; one brother, Robert Kelly (and wife, Miriam) of Carlisle; and two grandchildren, Judson Arnold of Annapolis, MD and Amanda Arnold (and fiancé, Travis Clark) of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by three children, Douglas, Karen and Cathi Arnold; two sisters, Josephine Blevins and Virginia Swartz; and one brother, James Hyman.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
