Carl W. Forscht Jr.

Carl W. Forscht, Jr., age 64, of Harrisburg, passed away February 1, 2021. Born April 12, 1956 in Mechanicsburg. He was a son of the late Joyce (Foster) Forscht.
Carl was an IT Specialist for the Department of Labor and Industry, was a US Air Force Veteran, liked to watch movies and target shooting and loved genealogy, family history and building model airplanes.
Carl is survived by his son, Christopher (Courtney) Forscht, Mt. Holly Springs; daughter, Jillian Forscht, Carlisle; granddaughter, Leah Forscht, Carlisle; sister, Susan (Jeffrey) Rains, Havertown, PA; nephew, Ian Rains, Havertown, PA and ex-wife, Diane Forscht, Dillsburg.
Carl was preceded in death by his infant brother, Galen Paul Forscht.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Carl will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd Carlisle.
