Carl “Tomâ€Â Marston Jr., 84, of Carlisle died Saturday February 16, 2013 at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
Born August 27, 1928 in Carlisle he was a son of the late Carl T. Sr. and Ela Lamma Marston and the widower of Betty Cornman Marston.
Tom was a member of Big Spring Fish and Game; Minquea Social Club, Shippensburg; White Circle, Carlisle and American Legion Post 421, Newville. Carl was a longtime employee of the Carlisle Livestock Market and retired from Frog, Switch and Manufacturing Company, Carlisle after 30 years of employment.
He is survived by his five children; Judy Mahoney of Carlisle, Carl Thomas Marston III of Carlisle, Barb Chronister of Carlisle, Deborah Jo Gast of Newville and Karen Marston of Newville, two sisters; Nancy Stone and Peggy Marston both of Carlisle, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Helen Marston and Romaine White and a brother, Doug Marston.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 219 N. Hanover St. Carlisle is in charge of funeral arrangements.
