Bryan C. Furlan

Bryan C. Furlan, age 46 of Carlisle, PA, passed peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2020 at home with his loving wife Donna by his side from colon cancer.
Bryan was only a semester away from a finance degree from Penn State Harrisburg when he was diagnosed. Prior to this he served as a Field Purchased Transportation Manager at FedEx.
Bryan was an avid sports fan. In his early years he enjoyed playing soccer, football, and basketball. He also spent his time rock climbing and was an excellent boxer. More recently, he spent much of his time watching professional sports and celebrated several wins in his fantasy football league over the years. He always looked forward to the start of the football season.
Bryan loved to travel with his wife and friends, making several trips to see different NFL stadiums and watch his beloved Dallas Cowboys play. Bryan enjoyed hosting parties or just spending his time laughing, telling stories and sharing drinks out and about with his friends. Friends often described him as the life of the party.
Bryan will be forever loved and remembered by his wife, Donna Furlan (Hofmeister), his mother, Sharon Maloney (Kitner) of Lafayette, Colorado and many close friends he considered family and with whom he spent holidays and other special events.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA. There will not be a viewing or formal service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Bryan’s name to Hospice of Central PA (www.hospiceofcentralPA.org) or Paltown/Colontown at www.paltown.org.
