Bruce L. Adams

Bruce L. Adams, 75, of Carlisle died on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born on July 17, 1943 in Mainsville,(Shippensburg) PA to the late Lester W. and Kathleen Kriner Adams and was the widower of Laurie B. Foose Adams who passed on August 19, 2017.
Bruce had worked and retired from the Kinney Shoe Company in Carlisle with over 30 years of employment. He had also worked at the Ross Distribution in Carlisle and was a former cook at the American Legion Post 101 in Carlisle, PA.
He was also a member of the American Legion in Carlisle, former member of the FOE Aerie #1299 in Carlisle and was an avid NASCAR race fan.
Bruce is survived by three sisters, Bonnie F. Chestnut and husband Barry of Newville, Gladys Ott of Shippensburg, Betsy Lewis of Indiana, a brother; Richard Adams and his wife Esther of Carlisle, four daughters, Cindy L. Meyers, Colleen E. Geedy, and Brenda L.Adams all of Dillsburg and Kimberley A. Adams of Harrisburg, 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by four brothers, Harry, Clarence, John and William Adams and one sister, Betty Carbaugh.
According to Bruce’s wishes there will be no viewing or services. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
