Bruce C. Long Ii

Bruce C. Long II, 65, passed away in his home on the morning of Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
He was born August 11, 1954 in Carlisle.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Linda, who he married March 28, 1981. He is also survived by his daughter, Emily Kansiewicz and her husband Stephan.
Bruce was a graduate of Carlisle High School in the class of 1972 and graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Lehigh University in 1974. He was a devoted employee at the Book of the Month Club for many of his younger years and worked until his passing as a Mail Carrier at the Mechanicsburg Post Office for over 20 years. He enjoyed listening to classical and big band music, and even played the trumpet all through school. Bruce also enjoyed collecting minted coins and two-dollar bills. In his free time, Bruce loved to relax with a good book or with his family and his dogs Bella and Libby.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
