Brenda Kosciolek

Brenda Kosciolek (nee Defibaugh), age 59, of Marysville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 23, 2017.
She was born August 3, 1958 in Perry Township, Clarion County, PA to Betty “Audean” (Smith), and the late John Alverda Defibaugh.
Brenda was a 1976 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School. She worked at Hoss’s Steak & Sea House restaurant for nearly 30 years, starting as a server and moving all the way up to General Manager. She was a precious, beloved woman of God who devoted her time and energy serving beside her husband in missionary work abroad in Africa and several other foreign countries, as well as serving in both women’s and youth ministries and education at Greater Grace Church, Carlisle.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by: her husband of 36 years Pastor Raymond Kosciolek; brothers David (wife Linda) Defibaugh, Gary (wife Karen) Defibaugh, and Charles (wife Theresa) Defibaugh; as well as 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 9 great-nephews, and 3 great-nieces. In addition to her father, Brenda is preceded in passing by her brother, John Edward Defibaugh.
Funeral services for Brenda will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory - 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. Pastor Jonathan Herb will be officiating. Burial will follow at Letort Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
