Bonnie M. Hare

Bonnie M. Hare, 81, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at her home.

She was born January 22, 1942, in Carlisle to the late Clarence and Catherine (Raudabaugh) Morrison.

Bonnie was a 1959 graduate of Carlisle High School. She later attended Wison College in Chambersburg. Bonnie was formerly employed as a bookkeeper at Troy Laundry and The Law Offices of Latsha, Davis and Yohe. Her love of antiques led her to become a lifelong collector and dealer. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, trips to Shady Maple, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Elks Lodge #0578 and Carlisle United Methodist Church.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James E. “Jim” Hare of Carlisle; three daughters, Kathy Ann Zeigler of Carlisle, Brenda (husband John) Sheaffer of Carlisle, and Tracy (husband Greg) Sharp of Newville; and three grandchildren, Stephanie Bragg, A.J. Sharp, and Samantha Sharp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Richard G. Morrison.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 with Rev. Mira Hewlett officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
