Bonita "Bonnie" Romito

Bonita “Bonnie” Romito, 77, of Carlisle, died Monday, November 13, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle.

Born in Mechanicsburg, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Marian (Cramer) Kipp and wife of the late Frank M. Romito, Jr., who passed away in 2021.

Bonnie worked for over 15 years at Harrisburg Auto Auction and for over 20 years at Silver Springs Speedway & Flea Market and Williams Grove Speedway as a security guard. She loved being at the races and the auction because she enjoyed meeting and talking to people.

Bonnie enjoyed reading and was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg.

She is survived by her daughter: Janelle Romito; four stepchildren and her brothers: Rick Kipp and Steve Kipp.

Bonnie was preceded in death by a son: Mike Kipp.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 6 PM Friday, November 17, 2023, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 5 PM prior to the service.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
