Billie Jacobs

Billie Jacobs, age 69, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.

She was born on July 19, 1948 in Radford, Virginia to Dixie (Baisden) Ferrell and the late William Ferrell.

Billie received a Bachelor’s Degree from York College graduating with honors, became a Certified Public Accountant and retired as a finance manager this year.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed beautiful flowers, was an avid reader and will always be remembered as a giver.

Billie is survived by her loving husband, Clayton Jacobs, Jr.; daughters, Joey Wisner and her husband Steve of Carlisle, and Jenny Ford and her husband Matthew of Rochester, NY; mother, Dixie Ferrell of Chapel Hill, NC; sisters Bonnie Farrell of Chapel Hill, NC and Betsy Rojahn of Holly Hill, FL; and grandchildren, Matthew and Jack Wisner and Jayde Ford.

Memorial services for Billie will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road, Carlisle. There will be a visitation at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
