Beverly A. Schriver

Beverly A. Schriver, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017, in the arms of her granddaughter, Leanna.
She was born on August 6, 1929 in Gaston, IN to the late Van Ivan and Faye Eunice Williams. Beverly married Elden C. Schriver on July 7, 1968. He was her one true love and soul mate. They were married for only 28 years before his death.
Beverly graduated from Gaston Jr/Sr High School in 1947 and went on to Muncie Business College. She was a strong, loving and independent woman who always put her family first. She loved astrology, music, traveling and celebrating holidays with her loved ones. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, soap operas and the Hallmark channel.
She is survived by; three children, Sandra K. Carlisle (Dave) of Berkeley Springs, WV, John R. Ingram (Lori) of Burlington, KY, Cheryl A. Tedeschi (Roger) of Mechanicsburg, PA; four grandchildren, Deona Carlisle and Lorrie Bird of Berkeley Springs, WV, Leanna Baker of New Cumberland, PA, Max Ingram of Newport, KY; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wilma Jean Ingram and granddaughter, Kristen Eader.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made “In Memory of Beverly” to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
