Betty J. Mcpheat

Betty J. McPheat, age 89, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Manor Care Health Services, Camp Hill.
She was born on August 3, 1926 in Harrisburg to the late Charles and Mabel Elizabeth Tabb Atkins and was the widow of the late William G. McPheat.
Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her husband and their home. She did, however, enjoy working part-time at local stores wherever she and her husband lived. After her husband retired they moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC and then later moved up to Sunset Beach, NC. She was a member of the Calabash Covent Presbyterian Church in Sunset Beach.
She is survived by two nieces, Linda Hall of Mechanicsburg and Beth Cyr of MD; and a nephew, Edward Wade of Camp Hill.
There will be a private Memorial Service at Linda's home on Sunday, January 17, 2016 and a Memorial Service at a later date at the Calabash Covent Presbyterian Church, 8820 Old Georgetown Road, Sunset Beach, NC 28468. Interment will be at the Calabash Covent Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sunset Beach, NC where her husband is buried.
