"Aunt Betty"
Formerly a resident of Mt. Holly Springs died at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial
Home on August 18, 2014. She was born on April 9, 1925, a daughter of the
late Charles H. and Mary E. (Bream) Cornman.
On July 31, 1948 she married Daniel E. Myers, who died on September 9, 1997.
A graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1943, she was a homemaker and a
member of the former Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mt. Holly Springs. She
enjoyed reading, puzzles, and being an Aunt to many.
She is the last of her immediate family. In addition to her husband she is
predeceased by brothers; Edgar Cornman, Vernon "Buzz" Cornman, and G.
Richard "Whitey" Cornman and a niece, Susan Cornman Bassett.
Survivors include a niece Jayne McCormick of Richardson, TX; a great-niece
Megan Bassett of Atlanta, GA, nephews Ronald (Diane) Cornman and William
(Doreen) Bassett, and dear friends, Amy and John Towne of Carlisle and Jeanne
Heath of Hopedale, MA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
