Beth M. Sanders, 64, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence, Harrisburg.
She was born May 11, 1954 in Carlisle to George L. Ebener of Mechanicsburg and the late Gladys (Miller) Ebener.
Beth was a 1972 graduate of Carlisle High School and graduated from Central Penn College in 1974. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church, Carlisle where she served as the financial secretary and was a current member of Carlisle United Methodist Church where she was involved in the prayer shawl knitting group.
The Sanders family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence for the exceptional care they provided for Beth.
In addition to her father, Beth is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Richard W. Sanders of Mechanicsburg; one daughter, Kathryn B. (husband Nathaniel) Knorr of Kennett Square; one son, Dr. Todd R. (wife Daphne) Sanders of Mechanicsburg; one sister, Sharon L. (husband Ronald) Simons of Carlisle; one granddaughter, Colette Knorr; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Carlisle United Methodist Church, 45 South West Street Carlisle, PA 17013 with Rev. Mira Hewlett officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Beth to American Cancer Society, 112 Sipe Ave. Hummelstown, PA 17036.
