Benjamin C. Blosser, 71, of Carlisle died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at his home.
Born July 26, 1941 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Carl and Edna Heberling Blosser.
Surviving are his ex-wife, Phyllis Reese of Carlisle; two daughters, Kathy Blosser of Enola and Kim Fox (and husband, Tony) of Chambersburg; one son, Keith Blosser of Newville; four grandsons, Zachary Blosser, Dylon Hobart, Brendon Hobart, and Sacade Shankle; and two brothers, Kenneth Blosser of Carlisle and Carl Blosser of York County. He was preceded in death by five brothers: Marlin, Lester, Sheldon, Dale, and Dean Blosser and five sisters: Alma Stevens, Frances Miller, Dorothy Bricker, Elinor Weigle, and Betty Mearkle.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Timothy D. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 and Thursday from 12:00 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home.
