Barbara R. Seal

Barbara R. Seal, 83, of Carlisle, died Friday, December 13, 2024 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born January 17, 1941 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Janet (Wingler) Reese and the wife of 40 years to George Seal.

Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Carlisle High School and a 1962 graduate of West Chester State College with a B.S. in Music Education. She taught elementary vocal music for 18 years at York Suburban School District and also worked at Carlisle Bon Ton for 18 years.

Barbara attended Carlisle United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother-in-law: Richard Seal (Mary Louise), of Virginia; her niece: Emily Kestler, of Virginia; her nephew: Richard Seal, II, of Maryland; her grandniece: Grace Kestler and her grandnephew: Triston Kestler.

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
