Barbara Ann Jumper

Barbara Ann Jumper, age 82 of Newville, passed away April 16, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. Born December 30, 1938 in Schuylkill, PA daughter of the late Fredrick and Anna Suzanne (Brinick) Reber. She was the widow of Ronald E. Jumper Sr.
Barbara was retired from the Navy Depot and enjoyed reading and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Lisa A. (Tom) Huryn, Enola; David E. Jumper, Newville and Jennifer S. Jumper, Newville; grandchildren Nicole (Jeff) Fahnestock, Etters; Matthew (Chelsea) Chestnut, Halifax; Seth Huryn, New Cumberland and Justin Huryn, Etters; great-grandchildren Sarah, Hailey, Tyler, Colton, Cameron and Isaac and great-great-granddaughter, Eleanor. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Spleen.
Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Ann Jumper, son, Ronald E. Jumper Jr and sister, Janette White.
Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 1pm on Friday April 23, 2021 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 W. Trindle Road Carlisle.
As mandated by Governor Wolf maximum capacity during gatherings is restricted and you may be asked to wait at the door when you arrive until the numbers allow for your entrance.
Barbara will be laid to rest beside her husband at Westminster Cemetery.
