Audrey S. Maxwell

Audrey S. Maxwell, 92, of 632 N. West St, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Nov, 30, 2012 in her home.
Audrey was born April 8, 1920 in Walkersville, MD. She was a foster daughter of the late Herman and Phoebe Greason of Walkersville, MD and Mt. Holly Springs, PA and the widow of William C. Maxwell who died in 1974.
Audrey worked as an LPN for Claremont Nursing Home, Sarah Todd Nursing Home, and retired from Carlisle Regional Medical Center in 1986.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela I. Kuhn with whom she made her home, and one step-sister, Francis Slifer of Fredrick MD, also including four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several great nephews and nieces. Audrey was preceded in death by one half-brother David Greason, half-sister Phoebe Hubley, and son William “Bill” Maxwell Jr.
At her request, services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
