Audrey Lippert

Audrey (Appleby) Lippert, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, July 13 at her residence. Born June 11, 1944 in Neelyton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Lillian (Whitsel) Appleby. She was the loving wife of the late Larry Lippert.

Audrey worked for 37 years as a senior manufacturing technician for Carlisle Tire and Wheel, Inc. until her retirement. She was a dedicated volunteer for the Salvation Army, often assisting with fundraisers, meal preparation, and other tasks at Salvation Army thrift stores. She was devoted to supporting Salvation Army causes, including her participation in their bible study activities. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Audrey was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Johnson; and her brothers Richard, Robert, and Franklin.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19 at Letort Cemetery, 1198 Claremont Rd., Carlisle, PA with Captains Rebecca and Joe Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Audrey’s memory to The Salvation Army, 20 E. Pomfret St., P.O. Box 309, Carlisle, PA 17013. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
