Anne N. Tice

Anne N. Tice, 94, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Thornwald Home, Carlisle.
She was born March 1, 1921 in Baltimore, MD to the late Patrick and Margaret Murphy Oates and was the widow of Eugene A. Tice who passed away in 1978.
Anne graduated from Clara Barton High School in Baltimore. She had been a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where she was a Health Care Minister and belonged to the Shamrock Club.
Anne is survived by two daughters, Mary Anne (and husband David) Wedell of New Bern, NC and Barbara E. (Robert) Brobst of Carlisle; a son, Paul A. (and wife Kim) Tice of Warrenton, VA; four grandsons, Andrew Kramer, Alex Kramer, Drew Tice and Aaron Tice; and a brother, Joseph P. Oates. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bartholomew Oates and John Oates and a sister, Kathleen Oates Heffner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Brian J. Wayne officiating. Burial will be held privately at St. Ambrose Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven, PA. There will be a viewing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle.
