Anna Marie Paulus

Anna Marie Paulus, 71, of Shermans Dale, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Annie was born on February 3, 1947 in Dauphin County to the late Clair M. and Mabel M. (Kitner) Smee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy in 2014.

Annie retired from retail sales. She enjoyed camping, baking, playing games (especially Parcheesi) and volunteering to feed the homeless on Thanksgiving. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons; Fred A. (wife Michelle) Paulus of Fairfield and Trevis R. (wife Rebecca) Paulus of Shermans Dale; daughter, Miranda (husband David) Johnston of Lewisberry; six grandchildren; Tarashay (husband JP), Hunter (Charlee), Autumn (husband Bryce), Brenna, Julian, and Kennedy; and five great-grandchildren; Hope, Cali, Rowan, Kyrie and Abi; and sisters, Esther Mae, Betty and Arlene.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbie and brother, Bobby.

A Celebration of Life service for Annie will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road, Carlisle. There will be a visitation Friday at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be in Young’s United Methodist Church Cemetery in Shermans Dale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
