Allen R. Mccoy

Allen R. McCoy, 73, of Newville, died on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at his home, with his loving wife Brenda by his side.
He was born March 14, 1949, in Carlisle to Phyllis W. McCoy of Shippensburg and the late Gerald McCoy.
Allen was a 1967 graduate of Carlisle High School. He enjoyed many years of employment with the Borough of Carlisle before eventually retiring. Allen was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Allen honorably served his country in the US Army in Vietnam.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Brenda (Gettle) McCoy of Newville; his sister, Patricia Sangialosi of Gardners; his daughter, Jamie (husband Todd) Reisinger of Millerstown; two step-daughters, Natalie Jacoby of Pittsburgh and Darlene (husband Timothy) Shughart of Carlisle; his grandson, Dominic Reisinger; three step-grandchildren, Roxanne (husband Mark) Mangini of Pittsburgh, Heather (husband Asa) Steese of Mifflinburg, and Timothy (wife Tasha) Shughart Jr. of Carlisle; and four step-great-grandchildren, Sylvia Mangini, Austin Steese, Dylan Steese, and Judd Shughart.
There will be no viewing or service. Inurnment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
