Alfred M. Signore

Alfred M. Signore, age 84, of Boiling Springs, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Holy Spirit Geisinger Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born April 17, 1933 in New Haven, CT to the late Anthony and Mary (LaMonica) Signore.
Alfred was a chemical engineer in the rubber manufacturing business and then a safety trainer for the trucking industry before retiring. He was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan, loved golfing and enjoyed cooking, especially Italian food.
He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Joan D. (Tolli) Signore of Boiling Springs; eight children, Laura Signore of Naugatuck, CT, Alfred M. Signore, Jr. of Seymour, CT, Cynthia (husband Gerald) Lawrence of Naugatuck, CT, Ralph (wife Shirley) Signore of Derby, CT, Mary Beth Signore of Derby, CT, Joseph (wife Sherry) Signore of Naugatuck, CT, Amy E. (husband James) Sattel of Warwick, RI, and Seth C. Signore of Boiling Springs; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
A private remembrance will be held by the family at a later date.
