Albert "Al" Barbour, Jr.

Albert "Al" Barbour, Jr., age 52, of Steelton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at his home.
He was born on May 16, 1963 in Harrisburg to the late Albert Barbour, Sr. and Joyce Barbour.
Al loved to sit downtown, watch people and drink his coffee. He was a Philadelphia Eagles fan and was a member of Patch and Match in Harrisburg. He will be remembered as a funny, caring man who would do anything to help others.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather (and her husband Jason) Sheriff of Carlisle; and three grandchildren, Nevaeh Wright, Aubrie Sheriff and Ella Sheriff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Albert "AJ" Barbour, III and his sister, Judy Barbour.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church, 2217 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA with Rev. Sally Strayer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church, 2217 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
