A.J. Arnold "Arnie" Thompson

A.J. Arnold “Arnie” Thompson, 84 years of age died on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Carlisle, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Clearfield, PA on December 12, 1934 to the late Theodore R.and Elsie Lamadue Thompson. Arnie was well known in the Carlisle area being the owner and operator of the Thompson Auto Detailing Shop since 1968. He was a graduate of Clearfield High School, a member of the Harley Hogs Assoc. and the Boot Scooters Winners Circle Dance Club.

Arnie is survived by his loving partner of 32 years, Debra A. Bidelspach of Carlisle, four daughters; Amiee Lindquist of Waynesboro, Julia Lightner of Ickesburg, Barbara Hoover of Carlisle, Virginia Davis of Carlisle, two sons; Arnie Ashwell of Carlisle and Arnold Thompson of Philipsburg. He was preceeded in death by his sister, Patricia Stonebraker and a son Ronald Carr.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Burial will also be private.
