David W. Young

David Wayne Young, of Gardners, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Carolyn’s Hospice House in Harrisburg. He was 81 and the husband of 34 years to Mary (Reardon) Young.

Born in Littleton, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Mark and Katherine Peters Young.

David worked for over 30 years with Pizzagalli Construction, South Burlington, Vermont, as a heavy equipment operator.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: David, Jr., Tracy, Mark, Caleb and Jeremy, all of Rutland County, Vermont; his daughter: Theresa White (Jeff), of Massachusetts; his step sons: Robert Derrickson, Jr., of Etters, Ronald Derrickson, of Etters, Alan Derrickson, of Harrisburg; his step daughter: Susan Bretz, of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as his brother: Gary Young, of New Hampshire.

Interment will be held in the Spring of 2023 in New Hampshire.
