Clara Jean Ocker

Clara Jean Ocker “CJ”, 63, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at her residence. She was the wife of 35 years to Daniel Ocker.
Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Clara Feidt Ross and the late Harold Ross.
“Pud” loved canning and cooking and enjoyed crocheting, even making blankets for most of her children and grandchildren. She loved animals, especially horses, Western movies and playing board games.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children: Tania Simpson (Michael), of Lykens, Sean Simpson (Nicole), of New Ringgold, Nicole R. Sollenberger (Dylan), of York Springs, Westley S. Ocker, of Carlisle; four grandchildren; her siblings: Joe Cline, of Camp Hill, Ada Shaner (Paul), of Lewisberry, Linda Ginter (Gary), of Enola and Terry Ross, of Camp Hill as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
